Come see Fritz Lang’s audacious cinematic undertaking: the sci-fi classic Metropolis, starring Brigitte Helm as both Maria and the robot human with a colorfully rich new score featuring David Blazer on organ and Andrew Pongracz on percussion.
Inspired by the new modernist architecture of 1920s New York and the class divisions of the industrial age, Metropolis is a timeless statement about technological anxiety and what it means to be human.
